I'm not pleased with Goodreads over the deletions without warning. Bad juju there. I've created an account at BookLikes, but I've not had time to really look it over. In the meantime I've exported my book shelves, so hopefully they'll be safe.

Oh Goodreads, we can never fine a happy medium with that place. It's sad because I've met so many awesome people through GR. "/
On another note, Vicious is something I've been looking forward to since forever ago! I'll be sure to keep a look out for your review. :)

I use Booklikes to forward my posts, but I have found that books that I have on my TBR and want to look up aren't on there, so I still go to Goodreads to look up books. I need to look into LibraryThing though. I like the haul. I am hoping my library is going to carry Vicious soon. Happy reading.

Yes, Goodreads still seems to be the best resource for looking up titles, especially for future releases. It's a shame. I need to gets used to Booklikes.
Thank you! Hopefully your library gets Vicious soon. - September 30, 2013 at 9:14 PM

Yes, I sort of see their point of view about not wanting to alienate authors if it's now going to be more marketing oriented rather than social, but they should have clearly articulated this. They definitely should not have deleted content without warning.

It's an excellent resource and social site, it's really sad how it's changing :/
I'm hoping to start Vicious soon, I'm excited :) Thanks! - September 30, 2013 at 9:19 PM
