Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly event hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

This week's topic really showed me how far behind I've gotten on my Goodreads challenge. I need to pick up the pace, reading wise. Or focus on audiobooks and stop listening to so many podcasts.

Here's the list:

It reflects how my reading taste can be a bit all over the place but still gears toward YA. Speaking of which, I feel like I've been incepted/successfully convinced to read more YA contemporary, so if anyone wants to leave recs in the comments, I'd really appreciate it.

I loved Rainbow Rowell's Attachments, and I'm looking forward to reading her others, especially Fangirl.
Also, if you are interested in reading more YA and Contemporary, I would HIGHLY recommend Morgan Matson's Since You've Been Gone. It's wonderful.

Oooh so many books I still have on my TBR. The Goldfinch will be available at my library tomorrow so I might pick it up soon. I have to read Schwab soon as well, and Bardugo, too. I heard so many amazing things.

Happy reading!

I really need to read Scarlet. I loved Cinder, but I haven't managed to read the next book yet!

Great list! If you're looking for contemporary YA you might try any A.S. King, E. Lockhart's We Were Liars, Andrew Smith's Grasshopper Jungle, J.C. Carleson's The Tyrant's Daughter, and And We Stay by Jenny Hubbard. I liked all of these and while they are all contemporary, they are very different from one another.

I still need to read Cress :), but Scarlet's pretty entertaining.

The Goldfinch does drag a bit in the middle, but I felt the end was rewarding. Definitely recommend Schwab and Bardugo :)
