Feature and Follow Friday

Q: What book (or TV show or movie) have you not read that seemingly everyone else has?

Book: Guys, I have a confession to make, I have not read:

Maybe I'll get to it some time before the film release.

TV Show:

I like to be up on my pop culture, but I never got into this show while it aired and now I'm intimated by the all the hours I'd spend catching up.

Movie:

I saw the first two in theaters but never got there for this one. At this point all the plot details have been spoiled by cultural osmosis so I may never bother to see it. Would it be worth it?

If you'd like, let me know in the comments what TV shows you're watching right now. I could use some recs, and I also love talking about shows on twitter if anyone's interested.

Unknown said...: I HAVE read Divergent, but I wasn't wowed like everyone else and haven't made the move to read Insurgent. Haven't seen Mad Men either, although I finally just saw The Dark Knight Rises. I didn't think it deserved to be hated on as much as it did, but maybe it's just because I had low expectations of it from everyone's kvetching? :) New bloglovin follower! thanks for stopping by!; October 4, 2013 at 9:05 PM

I haven't watched Mad Men but you should try Divergent. And you're right about reading it before going to the theatre.
As for The Dark Knight Rises, I've enjoyed it on DVD. The visual effects were amazing and I've spend a good relaxing time. But it was different from the previous two.; October 5, 2013 at 3:27 AM

Unknown said...: I'm horrible and have yet to read Divergent too. I bought them then went into a faerie kick. Then since the 3rd and final book is almost out I decided to wait until it came out so I can just read all 3 in a row!

I haven't watched Mad Men either! I've heard good things though. I think I just need to set aside a few hours and watch some of it.

Vilia said...: I haven't seen any of the films in Dark Knight trilogy so I'm further behind than you in that respect. I liked the older ones because they had a sense of humour and I loved playing Lego Batman. Dark Knight just didn't appeal. Thanks for stopping by my F&F
