This week's question is:
What books are you embarrassed to admit you LOVED?
These days I'm not really embarrassed to admit to loving the books I love. When I was younger I was extremely prone to embarrassment, whether it was my college roommate calling me a nerd for liking The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or my sister's judgment of my love of manga. Now I'm more comfortable with myself, at least enough so when I face judgement for not liking 50 Shades of Grey (my friends) or reading anything in public that's not a classic, by Franzen, or by David Foster Wallace (allegedly random strangers on the train, according to any article I've ever read) it doesn't bother me. I own up to what I'm reading, and if other people think I should be embarrassed:

Hopping through. No embarrassment is good. I read Hitchhiker's Guide for the first time a few months ago. I thought it was hilarious.

I got some judgement for not really liking Fifty Shades either. Nothing too bad, but I just made my point to people that it wasn't for me. People back of a little when i put it that way - not every book is right for every person.
